Good Morning! It's snowing here!!
When I got up around 5:15 this morning, there was nothing going on. But now at almost 7:30, the cars and street are both covered with snow. So pretty.
Unfortunately I've got three conference calls today - one at 8:30, another at 10 and the last at 1, so I won't be going out to play in the snow. Mabel, however, is out there somewhere. I get up periodically and check, but she is not hanging by the door waiting to come in. She does, after all, have a fur coat, so I'm sure she is fine.
How much we get and how the roads are will determine whether or not Dee and I meet up tomorrow morning. And, Fletch and I are planning to have dinner at C&M's tomorrow night...so hopefully everything will be clear by then.
Happy weekend everyone! Stay warm and cozy and have a good one! I'm hoping for some making time later today.
It's so beautiful when it snows! Enjoy the snow from the warmth of your windows, Vera. XO
ReplyDeleteWe're forecast to get 6-8 inches by the time it's all done, and you know how I feel about that. UGH. I'm just looking ahead to next week and temps in the 40s with rain so it all goes away.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you can get together with Dee and enjoy each other's company. And that Mabel doesn't stay out too long.
A snowy Friday is a very good thing for January! :) Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeletewe are having snow right now and it's beautiful to behold from the inside!
ReplyDeleteI hope one or more of your conference calls gets cancelled, Mabel comes home soon, you and Dee can travel safely tomorrow to meet up, and you can easily get to C&M's. May they all come true! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been snowing fairly steadily here since yesterday - it's very pretty, but I'm staying inside as much as possible this weekend, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteLemmy is currently out in the catio watching all the birds at the feeder!
It's been snowing here all morning but it's the wet heavy kind of snow that I am not a fan of. We had a pretty, white fluffy cover for the past few days and now it's looking all shaggy.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow! Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteWe're enjoying a gorgeous snowfall right now...but my husband is flying back from CO today and has to drive home from the Cleveland airport. Fingers crossed that we don't get another travel ban and that the thruway stays open!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you get just enough to enjoy...but not so much that it cancels your fun. Happy weekend to you!
I hope you can enjoy the snow today and it all gets cleared away by tomorrow morning so that you have no problems getting around!
ReplyDeleteI hope you can get over to see your son and daughter-in-law this evening and out with Dee tomorrow. I always feel better knowing you two are working away at the problems of the world - or at least enjoying a good time with coffee and knitting. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLet it snow all it wants as long as you can stay inside! lol Our cats are whimps and won't go out when it is in the 40's let alone when there is snow! Hope you enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow and be safe too … good time to stay indoors to enjoy doing the things you love.

ReplyDeleteWe had snow as well. The boys had a snow day and we all tried to get out and enjoy the snow a bit. Hope your roads stayed clear and you were able to go out for dinner.
