Still Dizzy

 Hi All,

I'm still here and still dizzy which is a PITA.  I slept most of yesterday (thankfully) and then again last night over 8 hours!  I'm trying to get my reports done today and sent out and then I will go back to bed for a little while.

Meanwhile, we all know how much prices have risen, but I thought you all might find this chart interesting (was in my work in-box this morning).

Obviously, click to enlarge.  There were more pages, but this first one was the most interesting (and depressing) to me.

Hope you all have a great day!

  1. Thanks for the CPI information, but it's very depressing! I don't even know how or where to save money anymore, certainly not at the grocery store or gas pump. I do hope your dizziness resolves soon. That is an awful feeling!

  2. Oof. That is painful information to read. Saving money is a nice memory, but gosh... very little of it is being saved today.

I, too, hope your dizziness subsides and soon!

    Prices have gone absolutely CRAZY!

  4. Those figures are certainly not news to us, are they? We're starting to eat more vegetarian meals, as are lots of people. And I'm grateful for my plug-in hybrid car. I hope you're soon back to feeling all better.

  5. Hope you feel better soon! If I knew the money from the price increases was going into the pockets of the workers I wouldn't mind but knowing that it's just the rich that keep getting richer just burns me up.

  8. Yesterday, I caught a news story on the CPI report. It hits hard when you see just how much prices have increased. Continue to rest and allow your body to recharge. Hope the vertigo dissipates soon.

  9. I feel like I'm spending almost as much on food each month as I do on our mortgage. It's insane!

  10. Oh Vera, I'm sorry the vertigo is hanging on. Lots of rest is on the agenda.
As for the prices. I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm afraid of what winter heating bills will bring to us. Dennis went to the grocery store last week and I was very glad. He saw for himself how expensive everything is. On a brighter note. He informed me tonight that I have zucchini ready to pick. I'm excited to go check out the garden tomorrow.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  11. I'm so sorry to hear that your vertigo is hanging on. Have you tried physical therapy? I know it sounds kinda weird, but I know several people who've had good results with it.

  12. I was hoping the dizzy was gone, bummer. I am ignoring the prices and just trying to do my best to buy what I need and not waste!

  13. I hope by now the dizziness has abated! That document is not fun at all. I had to fill up my gas tank earlier this week, which I'd been putting off, and it was definitely the most I've ever paid for a tank of gas.

  14. Vertigo is miserable. I hope you're feeling better today. The worst part of the inflation is that once prices are up, they don't go back down. And when gas stays at $4 we'll think it's a bargain!
