I'm Back

 Good Morning Everyone,

How are you?  I'm doing well and believe my little break was just what the doctor ordered.  I slept a lot.  Like several nights for 9 hours with 2 hour naps in the afternoon.  I sneezed so much and felt like I should take out stock in Puffs or Kleenix.  Poor Mabel was also sneezing up a storm!  And, she often was as lazy as me.

Feeling much better by last Thursday and Friday, I did meet up with Dee for our usual therapy session on Saturday and that felt so good!  I read a few blogs, but not all and did not comment.  It was so nice to have a computer break (work was thankfully light).  I will be *trying* to catch up on blogs today.  And I did some knitting and stitching and a little reading - more about that later in the week.

Last night we did catch Episode 2 of Season 8 of Endeavour (Fletch watched the first episode last Sunday, but I was unable to keep my eyes open!).  Anyone else watching?  I can't believe they are filming Season 9 which will be the final season.  Such a good show!

Today will be spent catching up, doing some laundry and, of course, work.  I believe our temps should moderate a bit by tomorrow (rain today), so I plan to make some bluebarb (blueberry & rhubarb) jam then.  Making jam can be hot business, so I'm tryng to choose the "coolest" day to do so.

Meanwhile, this morning has been crazy buzy work-wise which does not bode well for the week ahead.  I'd best hop to it!  I'll be back tomorrow with a TNT update (hint - A&E showed up!!!).

  2. When I count the time that it takes to blog, it's really quite a lot. Oftentimes a much-needed break is a good thing, and I'm glad yours was relaxing. Welcome back and I'm looking forward to A&E tomorrow!

  4. What a sweet photo of Mabel. I'm glad you (and she) got plenty of rest on your break. Looking forward to seeing the long-awaited debut of A&E.

  5. Glad you're feeling better. Resting when the body tells you to is always a good idea! Mabel is so darn cute.

I spent the weekend at Mom's so I'm spending today making it up to a certain feline. Dave gets up before me usually, and Burton always follows him down for breakfast. But this morning when I woke up, Dave was gone, but Burton was not. He was snuggled right in with me and stayed there until I got out of bed.

  7. I am glad you are feeling better, but you were certainly missed last week. Endeavour is one of my favorite shows, though I missed last night's episode because we were at an event at our synagogue. I'll be watching it tonight, though! I am glad to hear there will be another season because I had heard that this one was the last.
