Hello!
Ahhhhh, TGIF, even if he weather is nasty! Rain on my way to work, but no strong winds yet...snow in the forecast by 10 a.m. (but it is about 40 outside, so not really sure about that).
But, because of snow in the forecast I am back to jeans, boots and Sigla!! Yes, I got to wear it today. So happy.
Just a quick shot at my desk. I'm so happy with the fit (it did lengthen a bit with blocking and the sleeves are nice and long). It is warm and cozy, but not too warm. The Icelandic sweater my Mom knit for me is much heavier and warmer, so Sigla is perfect for inside wear. I just have a tee shirt underneath it and surprisingly/luckily I'm not finding it scratchy or itchy in the least.
I can't wait to make another sweater in this yarn - I think it will be Stopover which I have loved from the get-go.
Colin was over for diner last night (red beans and rice - yum!!) and he had downloaded Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, MO. I thought it was great!
No plans for the weekend as of now. We'll just wait and see what the weather is like. I think the storm is supposed to be pretty much over by tomorrow.
Have a great weekend - stay warm and dry!!

ReplyDeleteYou and your Sigla look wonderful! Congratulations on a really great sweater in beautiful colors. A sweater that is warm but not too warm, and not itchy sounds just perfect. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove the jumper, it looks very nice. I pretty much wore the same today. Not sure where the weather is going. Have a great weekend.
