- Cooked a lot: lamb on the grill, crawfish etoufee
- Baked some: a cake, cornbread, cookies
- Walked on the towpath from Oaks to Phoenixville
- Enjoyed a fire in the pit Saturday night
- Napped (of course)
- Finished "Circling the Sun" (loved it) and started "The Zig Zag Girl" which is okay
- Cleaned the bathrooms but successfully avoided other housework
- Avoided paying bills (guess I will need to do that tonight)
- Harvested tomatoes and made a batch of artisanal ketchup
- Watched hummingbirds come to our various feeders...mesmerizing

It really does sound like a lovely weekend. "Circling the Sun" is on my to-read list.
ReplyDeleteI did pay bills on Sunday ... begrudingly (but that's not news).
Paying bills, bah! We were wildly excited that the electric bill might be a smidge lower next month because we had the air off for 3 consecutive days. (note, it is back on today with a vengeance!)
ReplyDeleteYARN SHOPPING!!! It's my favorite way to spend a weekend AND I get to do it again THIS weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy week to you!
Oh, a fire pit. We haven't lit ours since the kids moved out. We are such old fuddy duddies.
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds like it was a very delicious one ♥
