Unraveled Wednesday September 8, 2021

 Hello and Good Morning!

An early and fast post before I dash off to the office.  I did not sleep well and at one point, when I did sleep, I had a dream that I overslept by several hours!  LOL  I haven't used an alarm clock for the past year plus, but last night I did since this is an "important/big" day at the office for me.  That was probably enough to give me anxiety!  Oh well.  I'm sipping coffee and will hopefully ease out of being groggy.

As usual on Wednesday, I'm linking up with Kat and other Merry Unravelers to talk making and reading.  Not much knitting has taken place, but I did manage to re-cast on the first of Peggy's socks and complete the cuff.

I also managed to chart out a pattern that I will use on the leg of the sock.  Perhaps I can get a start on that tonight...if I'm not too worn out from being at the office all day.

On the reading side of things I finished a couple of mysteries in the various series I am reading.  One by Linda Castillo and the other by Deborah Crombie.  Next up I'll start Conjure Women which has been on my radar list.  Fletch and I finished "From Earth to the Moon" by Jules Verne and really enjoyed it.  Last night we started Table of Contents by John McPhee.  I read this probably 28 years ago or so, but don't really remember it.  We both enjoy McPhee's writing, so this will be enjoyable.

And that's a wrap for me.  I'm off to have a little yogurt, wake Fletch, and trade my PJ pants for something more appropriate for being out in public.  Wishing you all a wonderful day!

    1. I was searching for loan to sort out my bills& debts, then i saw comments about Blank ATM Credit Card that can be hacked to withdraw money from any ATM machines around you . I doubted thus but decided to give it a try by contacting { cyberhackingcompany@gmail.com} they responded with their guidelines on how the card works. I was assured that the card can withdraw $5,000 instant per day & was credited with$50,000,000.00 so i requested for one & paid the delivery fee to obtain the card, after 24 hours later, i was shock to see the UPS agent in my resident with a parcel{card} i signed and went back inside and confirmed the card work's after the agent left. This is no doubts because i have the card & has made used of the card. This hackers are USA based hackers set out to help people with financial freedom!! 2. iI’m lauriel from New York, United States. I lost my job a few months back after my divorce with my wife. I tried everything positive to make sure I took good care of my kids but all failed, and I was in debt which makes everything worse. I was kicked out of my home and i had to live with my neighbor after pleading with her to allow me to stay with her for some days while I figured out how to get a home which she agreed to, but no one was willing to help anymore. I bumped into this page from google and I was excited about this, then I contacted the hackersBill Dean. I had just $200, so I pleaded with them to help me because of my condition but they never accepted. I believed in this, so I managed to pawn a few things and got $500. I ordered the $10,000 card and I got my card delivered to me by Ups 4 days later. I never believed my eyes! I was excited and upset as well, I managed to withdraw $2000 on the ATM and $2500 the second day. I went to Walmart and a grocery store and bought a couple of things for $3000. The card got blocked the third day and I contacted them and I was told it's a mistake from my end. I’m so happy, I have started all over again and have a good apartment with my kids you can contact him through is via email (globalatmcardhackingservice@gmail.com)or his whatsap contact (+1 301-887-5071)

  2. Ugh, I hate those dreams! Even though it's been many years since I slept through an alarm (and I don't think I've ever slept so late that I've actually been late to work), I still have them and they are the worst. I hope today goes smoothly and quickly, and as my daughter said to me last night, tomorrow is already Friday Eve!

  3. I think your yarn looks like peppermint chip ice cream (which I adore), so now I'm wanting some ice cream. :-) I hope your full day at the office (wearing "hard pants" maybe) goes well and quickly. And I hate those frustrating kinds of dreams . . .

  4. I'm with Kym - that yarn also reminds me of peppermint chip ice cream and I want some (both yarn and ice cream)! I hope your long day at the office isn't too long. How did we ever manage this every day?!

  5. Isn't it crazy? When we knew we had to be up extra early for our plane last week, neither of us slept well either. Dennis hasn't needed an alarm for years. His body just seems to wake him up. I hope all goes well for you today and you get to leave early.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  6. Wishing you a good day at work. I still have strange dreams about being in the classroom every year when school starts. They started in the 70s and repeat every August and September. I expected them to stop when I retired but like clockwork they appear at the beginning of the school year.

  7. the older I get the more that I LOVE a good night's sleep and when I do not get a good night's sleep it makes for a grumpy day.

  11. I sympathize with poor sleep. I've been a lifelong insomniac. Meds help some -- but not when I'm stressed out.

  12. The sock start looks great. I have Conjure Women on my TBR list so I'll be interested in what you think about it. I have read some of McPhee's work but not Table of Contents. I may have to look for it.

I am a grump when I miss sleep. It is really hard to give up the PJ pants. The yarn is a pretty color! Have a great day!
