A Thursday Jumble of Things

 Hi and Good Morning!

Last night was another one where I was awake more than asleep.  Hopefully there will be a nap later on.  But first I have a doctor's appointment at 8:40 and a rash of reports to get out.  So...a busy morning.

Yesterday saw our first snow of the season!  So pretty.  It started a little before Noon and lasted for a couple of hours.  No accumulation, but it did stick to tree branches.  Hopefully the very short video below will let you see what it was like.

When Colin & Mailing were over on Sunday, he mentioned seeing an abandoned bird's nest in one of our burning bushes.  Yesterday when I walked down the driveway to get the mail I saw it.

Do you see it?  At the center near the bottom.  There is also the beginning of another one above it and a little to the left.

Finally, I only rarely go on IG, but the other day when I opened it up this appeared!

Of course I LOVE it!  I need to save the image - perhaps for stitching or something.

And that's it for me this morning.  I've got to try to knock out at least one report before I get ready to head to the doctor appointment.  Have a great day!

  1. Hello,
We saw some snow here for about 20 minutes, the flakes were huge. It is a good time to look for the birds nest, while the trees and bushes are bare. The Vera bunny image is cute. Take care, have a great day!

  2. We started in MD with some light drizzle and ended up in some heavy snow on 295 as we headed home to NJ. By the end of the night there was an inch or so on the ground, but most of it is gone this morning. Just the kind of snow I like - the kind I don't have to shovel. I'd love to see the Vera bunny stitched!

  3. Pretty snow! (At this time of year, I like it when it doesn't stick around for long. . . ) I hope your day goes smoothly, and you get some rest later on. XO

  4. That bunny would make a nice stitching project on your pillowcase.

Our snow is STILL on the ground from last week's storm. It's melting slowly and steadily, but since we've had no rain and zero sunshine, there it stays.

There's the teensiest bird's nest in a sapling on my walk route. I see it every day, and every day I wonder what little bird made it. It's perfectly round and neat. So cute.

  5. I was just thinking on my walk yesterday that a side effect of all the leaves falling off the trees and bushes is that all the nests are revealed! Love the Vera bunny!

  8. How fun to find the Vera bunny when you opened IG. I haven't been on there in months. Hope all was well at the doctors. We're supposed to get snow starting tonight and lasting all weekend and through next week. This weekend a possible 8-9 inches but next week is supposed to be in the 30's during the day so hopefully it will melt. I don't love it.
    Take care.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  9. Snow! Even a few flakes would be welcome but I have to say I did enjoy the sunshine today. It's so cold and gloomy lately.
The bunny is really pretty. It would make a good stitching project.

  10. We haven't seen a flake here in our part of Oregon. It's fun to see snow come down when the house is decorated for the holidays. Have a restful weekend. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  12. Great image with your name. I love that it goes with the deer. We have had lovely warm days but tomorrow brings a wintry mix and perhaps some snow on the ground. Tis the season.

  14. We've warmed up a bit so that is nice--and you are getting a reprieve for a bit, too. I love the image with your name! So many ideas of how to use it!
