TGIF

Good Morning!

Thanks for all your good wishes on our anniversary.  I still can't believe it was 38 years ago!

A very slow commute into work again today.  Almost an hour to go 12-13 miles.  Found out from Colin that there is a huge sinkhole in the area that opened up, exposing a gas pipe and a local road is closed...thus my roads are a little more jammed up.  hopefully this will be fixed by next Tuesday.

My 10 a.m. finance conference call has been cancelled which is lovely; however, the CEO has already nabbed me to help him with some things...not sure what time I'll get out today, but hopefully by 1 if not before.

I'm feeling a little off kilter since I left my phone at home (at least I hope it is on the kitchen table).

Meanwhile, here is our friendly Friday feline...Tyg (or as Colin calls him, Tygus).  Lounging on a muggy day.

Wishing you all the best of weekends.  Enjoy!!

  1. I feel just like Tyg. It's been so muggy I just want to lay around and feel sorry for myself. I hear relief is coming next week. I need a break to get outside.

  2. Tyg has the right idea! I never thought I'd be someone who depended on her phone, but I have gradually turned into that person and completely understand your off kilter feeling. I hope you get out early today, beat the traffic on your way home, and find your phone sitting on the kitchen table.

  4. I always feel panicked when I can't find my cell phone, as the dang thing holds a lot of information that I should have memorized. Before cell phones, I had multiple phone numbers, addresses, and special days committed to memory - no more. Sigh!

  5. Tyg looks quite content! :-) I hate leaving my phone behind. I'm working hard at breaking my "screen-habit" -- but I like having it nearby all the same. Enjoy your weekend! XO

  6. I encourage you to enjoy the phone freedom!! For a bit today! no phones allowed at the barn, so I get that break a few times a week!

  10. I do hope your phone is home and not lost. I simply detest it when I forget it at home, it's like I've lost an appendage. Wishing you get off early and have a faster commute home.. and happy weekend! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  12. I read an article about unplugging this morning and one of the questions was how twitchy you'd be if you didn't have your phone. I'd probably rate an 8 - and maybe a 10 if I weren't sure I knew where it was! Hope the rest of your workday was quick ...and the drive home was even quicker. Here's to the weekend!!

  14. First off, happy anniversary! My parents spent their honeymoon in New Hope too! Hope your phone was at home. I'm one of those people who feel lost without their phone being with them. So weird.
