Hello All,
A beautiful morning here in Eastern PA. I think it might get warm, but so far it's gorgeous.
Happy to report that Talbot did come home last night. He can have the cone off when supervised...but today while Colin and Mailing are working, the cone will need to be on. Meanwhile, the brothers (Talbot and Marcel) have been reunited.
So sweet - Marcel grooming Talbot. Talbot has to go back to the vet on Saturday to have his sutures removed.
No knitting to show (again). Had a massage last night, came home and showered and then had a glass of wine, ate some pretzels, talked with a friend on the phone, read a little and went to bed by 9:30 - LOL. The massage was wonderful, but I was wiped out afterwards.
Lest Tyg feel abandoned by all the recent posts about Talbot, here is the wonderful Tygus (as Colin calls him).
Cute little paws hanging over the picnic table.
Have a wonderful weekend! Here's hoping mine will involve at least a bit of knitting.
I am happy to read Talbot is doing okay, pets are such a worry and how nice that you can help with the watching and healing. Cone wearing is not fun and I cave all the time when a pet has to wear it....I am a pushover. Today is glorious here and I will be outside enjoying it!!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Talbot was well enough to go home.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here today, and snowing in Montana. I'm praying the moisture will extinguish many of the wildfires. It's been terribly smoky here. My allergies have been giving me fits.
I'm glad to hear the good news about Talbot and hope he is fully recovered soon. After a full week, I hope you get some relaxed knitting time and have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteTyg is such a character....
ReplyDeleteTyg tyg. So dang cute. Perfect whiskers. I've been wanting a massage. ......it is in the works already in my mind for OCtober!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see kitty-joy! Sending good kitty-healing juju Talbot's way. :-)
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's nice to take a little knitting break (especially for things like massages and wine and conversations with friends). It make picking up the needles again all the more sweet! XO
Oh those kitty pictures! I'm happy Talbot is improving, and is now officially Marcel approved.
ReplyDeleteAnd goofy Tyg with that pose! Thanks for the happy.
A massage, wine and good friends - both the human and kitty kind- are great pacifiers for a slow, lazy evening. Glad Talbot ret'd home and that all's well. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteCheers~
Glad to hear Talbot is on the mend. If they don't want to use a cone, I've read that a 0 - 3 month baby shirt makes a good protection for sutures (depending how low they are on their belly).
ReplyDeleteTyg is such a handsome boy!
Oh my goodness -- so glad Talbot is ok and back home! Hope you get some knitting done this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet kitties. And of course, Tyg is as handsome as ever.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend; glad the kitties are on the mend!
ReplyDeletePoor Talbot. He has been through quite a lot. But I'm glad he's home and feeling better.
ReplyDeleteYour kitties are fun to see. Our son has moved home after the break-up of his marriage and has brought a 3 year old German Shepherd with him. That makes 2 of our 3 kids living here, one DIL and 2 grandsons and THREE dogs! LOL! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
