Good Morning!
Happy Friday the 13th! And...a full moon later tonight. A double whammy!
It poured on my way home yesterday. I was driving through Valley Forge Park and suddenly the wind whipped up and then the rain started. It was so strong that I had difficulty seeing with my wipers on the fastest setting! By the time I arrived home it had just about stopped. Colin was over for dinner and we ended up having a fire!
It looks pretty dark, but actually the sky looked like this:
It was around 7:30 when I snapped the pics. Colin hung around till about 9 and it was nice just to relax by the fire.
Tomorrow I take Tyg to the vet in the morning for his annual well check - lol. Believe it or not, that is what they write on the bill. He will get all his shots and hopefully be pronounced in good health. After that Fletch and I are spending the day with Colin and Mailing - going to the farmers market, out to lunch and then down to Shofuso - a Japanese Garden in Philly. They were there a few weeks ago for engagement photos and thought it would be a fun place to take us. After that we are heading back to their place for dinner. A full day, but it should be fun. Sunday will be my day for getting chores done and (hopefully) relaxing some.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!!
Oh, the sky was bright last night, wasn't it?! I will look forward to this heat to let go of us so we could be outside by a fire again!
ReplyDeleteAnd-what fun to look forward to a Japanese Garden!
Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe moon was gorgeous last night.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
That garden looks like it will be wonderful and the whole day should be a treat. What a wonderful way to start the weekend - have fun!
ReplyDeleteI just noticed last night how early it's getting dark now. I have no complaints. By dinner I'm worn out anyway.
ReplyDeleteFrost on the roof this morning -- brrr! Full Harvest Moon tonight: it will be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe've had frost a couple of nights now at the lake...not in town thankfully. I'm just not ready for that in September. The fire looks nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteOur vet writes the same thing, "wellness check" on our statements, no matter what they find. Hmmmm.
I love how Colin and Mailing enjoy spending time with you. I really wish we had family near to do the same with. Oh well, we bumble along on our own for now and it's okay. Not ideal, but okay.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy yourself!
Blessings,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds wonderful.. I wish we had a fire-pit. I do love a fire to sit around and roast marshmallows and hotdogs and just to stare at. You sure do have a good son and he obviously chose a wonderful mate. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
