Unraveled at the end of November

Hello All,

Joining in with Kat and others for the last Unraveled Wednesday of November 2017.  Time is flying by!!

No pictures today - I forgot to take a picture of the yarn-barf socks (because, you know, I've put them away for a little while), and the knitting I'm working on is a secret.  However, I will say there was no unraveling this week and I did manage to get quite a bit done yesterday.  YAY!!

On the reading front, I finished Lisette's List which was ok...maybe 3.5 stars.  I've enjoyed her other books more.  I'm currently reading Grief Cottage and so far, so good (only about a quarter of the way into it).  Two others just came through on Overdrive:  "The Girl Who Wrote in Silk" by Kelli Estes and "The Keeper of Lost Things" by Ruth Hogan.

That's it for me today.  I'll try to remember to take a picture of the sock.  I have a couple of other things on the needles, but keep finding new (at least to me) things that I want to knit right now!  I need to stay a little more focused....

Hope your week is going well!

  1. Staying focused is my biggest problem. I have ADHD when it comes to knitting!

  2. I think focus is hard for everyone at this time of year; it definitely is for me! Hope the rest of your week (along with secret knitting) is good!

  3. Happy Wednesday. I put naughty knits in time out too. It helps.

  4. I have several projects in the works that have been neglected. I need to find the bags and figure out where I left off.

  5. Secret knitting and blogging don't mix well, do they? Very frustrating!

  6. I just finished Grief Cottage today. I liked it, for the most part. I really didn't like Lisette's List at all. (It seemed more appropriate for middle school readers, actually. . . ) And focus? Ha! XO

  8. I enjoyed The Keeper of Lost Things. Your yarn barf -- OMG! I'd be leery of that yarn if I were you! Yikes!

  10. I have a difficult time remembering to photo stuff too during the darker days. However, so far, I am on it. I have to read three books by the end of December to reach my goodreads goal....I've turned to YA to ease the burden :)
