Joining in with Kat and others for the last Unraveled Wednesday of November 2017. Time is flying by!!
No pictures today - I forgot to take a picture of the yarn-barf socks (because, you know, I've put them away for a little while), and the knitting I'm working on is a secret. However, I will say there was no unraveling this week and I did manage to get quite a bit done yesterday. YAY!!
On the reading front, I finished Lisette's List which was ok...maybe 3.5 stars. I've enjoyed her other books more. I'm currently reading Grief Cottage and so far, so good (only about a quarter of the way into it). Two others just came through on Overdrive: "The Girl Who Wrote in Silk" by Kelli Estes and "The Keeper of Lost Things" by Ruth Hogan.
That's it for me today. I'll try to remember to take a picture of the sock. I have a couple of other things on the needles, but keep finding new (at least to me) things that I want to knit right now! I need to stay a little more focused....
Hope your week is going well!
Staying focused is my biggest problem. I have ADHD when it comes to knitting!ReplyDelete
I think focus is hard for everyone at this time of year; it definitely is for me! Hope the rest of your week (along with secret knitting) is good!ReplyDelete
Happy Wednesday. I put naughty knits in time out too. It helps.ReplyDelete
I have several projects in the works that have been neglected. I need to find the bags and figure out where I left off.ReplyDelete
Secret knitting and blogging don't mix well, do they? Very frustrating!ReplyDelete
I just finished Grief Cottage today. I liked it, for the most part. I really didn't like Lisette's List at all. (It seemed more appropriate for middle school readers, actually. . . ) And focus? Ha! XOReplyDelete
IM so scattered it is not funny. MY Pie kitty is sick. Not sure what is going on. Not eating not drinking. Been to the new vet twice , yesterday and today. May not be related to her tooth extraction 2 weeks ago. SUspicious bowel xray. I dont even know if I can knit tonight.ReplyDelete
I enjoyed The Keeper of Lost Things. Your yarn barf -- OMG! I'd be leery of that yarn if I were you! Yikes!ReplyDelete
I'm finally focused on this cardigan I am knitting-I am enjoying it and it is about halfway finished!ReplyDelete
I have a difficult time remembering to photo stuff too during the darker days. However, so far, I am on it. I have to read three books by the end of December to reach my goodreads goal....I've turned to YA to ease the burden :)ReplyDelete
