Good Morning My Friends,
It's hard to believe that today is the last Friday in July for this year. Time continues to fly by.
I have nothing new to share, no updates, no real news, but I did want to share my morning scene with you all. This is what I saw when I looked out my back bedroom window and they were still there when I came downstairs.
Two little (but growing bigger all the time) spotted fawns taking a rest. Here's hoping that your weekend can be just as peaceful. The heat and humidity are intensifying here, so I will be taking it easy. Have a good one!
How sweet they are! I forgot until just now that when we were on our way to the airport last week, we saw a doe and two fawns in our neighborhood, presumably doing a little yard maintenance for the home owner. Stay cool this weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt was 80 at 6am when Frankie and I did our early walk... it made for a short quick walk! We were both warm when we were done! Those fawns are adorable (but I bet they are sick of the heat as well!) Stay cool this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think the fawns picked a good yard to rest in with no dogs, just a curious cat. Hope you have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think it's so wonderful that your "woodland creatures" are so comfortable and feel so safe in your yard. It just makes me smile. Thanks for sharing your sweet little fawns.
ReplyDeleteOh, they're adorable!! Have a nice weekend... and stay cool!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend! I like how the fawns consider your yard a 'safe place' to rest!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that those babies are so close. They must really trust you. We have lots of deer but I've never seen them laying down near the house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet view. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful sight first thing in the morning. We made it to Spokane today and although it's really HOT, there is no hmidity which helps a lot.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
