Good Morning One and All,
How are you this morning? It is a cooler morning here (low 30's), but luckily no snow like I heard some areas had. Come On Spring!!!
There was sweet news yesterday when I learned my college roommate Nina just became a Grandma! Her daughter, Sarah, delivered a little girl (Ellie) last Thursday. I love that Nina, Sarah and Ellie all share the same middle name - Tamar.
Now it's time for a TNT update. Kindness saw a bit of progress this past week.
The bottom left corner has been rounded. Still an awful lot to stitch on this one, but it's fun and that's what counts. I've been managing to get in at least an hour of stitching on this piece each day. Slow but steady...
And now, I came across this cartoon in a recent New Yorker magazine and figured everyone would enjoy it:
Hahaha! Happy Tuesday everyone - have a great day.
I laughed at that cartoon too! Hahaha! Your stitching is coming right along, Vera! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like spring is slowly arriving, but may also stay. It's supposed to be 70 tomorrow, but temps are still quite cold at night. At least there's no snow in the 10-day forecast. You've stitched a lot of Kindness and it is looking good. Thanks for providing a place where I know I can get a weekly dose of Kindness!
ReplyDeleteLove the progress on the kindness piece! That comic is very cute!
ReplyDeleteFun the cartoon!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are incredible! And I love the cartoon!
ReplyDeleteI love that cartoon! Molly and I both got a laugh out of it! Congrats to your former roommate. I'm sure she's over the moon about her new granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteLol...I've got two books from our little lending library sitting here right now. They do look like bird houses. I saw birds popping out of the real houses down by the wetlands just yesterday. They are very busy with the nest building right now it appears.
ReplyDeleteI do love that stitching project. It's a sentiment that needs to be reinforced right now. I can barely look at the news without getting upset at the cruelty.
