Tiny Needle Tuesday 10/28/25

 Good Morning!

Welcome to the last Tuesday in October!  Wow!  I don't even know how that is possible.  But here we are, so time for a TNT update.

A bit of progress was made on my large piece.  The Evil Serpent now has a head (that looks rather cartoonish) and a bit of its body.  The creepy crawly thing has some of its legs.

If you click to enlarge, you will see the Serpent's eyes are red.  EVIL!!!

Here's an overall shot of the entire piece as it stands currently.

I might be able to find a bit of time to stitch today, but I'm not sure.  There is already a load of wash going (and Fletch isn't even up yet) and more where that came from.  But, an easy dinner is planned (salmon) which bodes well for some time in the afternoon.  (I should also do some knitting, but that's a story for another day.)

I hope your Tuesday finds you doing something you love.  Have some fun!

  1. The serpent looks almost friendly, but those red eyes do say differently! It's kind of incredible what just two red stitches can do. I have cooked for quite a few days so we have plenty of leftovers and we're going out to dinner with friends on Thursday, so I'm thankful for easy dinners this week!

  2. I agree with Bonny -- that serpent has a surprisingly friendly face. It almost looks like it's smiling! It fits with the feel of the piece, though. I hope you find some time for more stitching and maybe even some knitting this afternoon!

  3. The serpent makes me giggle, but I don't think it is supposed to.

  5. I agree with everyone, the serpent looks friendly, but I supposed his goal was to deceive and being friendly would help accomplish that goal.
I put a roast, potatoes, carrots and onion in the crockpot this morning. The condo is sure smelling good right now. Hope your dinner is as good as it sounds.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  6. That serpent looks so fun in that piece. I took a brisk walk and did just a bit of spinning. Both kids called late this afternoon so my dusting was interrupted - oh darn - not.
