Good Morning!
Another chilly one - perfect for snuggling with Iris!! And, it's Tuesday - time for an update on my Appil sampler. A bit of stitching was accomplished during the past week.
The tree is fully outlined and one leaf has been filled in. There was also a bit of ground work completed, but that might not be as noticeable. Here's the obligatory overall shot of where things stand.
Lots of filling in to do...the tree trunk, branches, leaves, etc. And then, of course, more creatures as I keep promising. My mantra is: I think I can, I think I can..... Still enjoying this piece and having fun stitching it.
Time for me to get moving. My head is cold so the first order of business is to dry my hair (while sipping some hot coffee). Hope your day is a good one!

I know you can, I know you can and "Slow and steady finishes the sampler"! It s looking good and I really look forward to Tuesdays when I get to see Adam and Eve (and the snake and the cat). Wishing you a good Tuesday with Iris!
ReplyDeleteYou can, you will, and magnificent it will be.
ReplyDeleteIt was a frosty start here as well... but the chill did not diminish the birds cacophony! Man are they loud at 630am! Ha! Your stitching is moving right along Vera! I like this one so very much!
ReplyDeleteEach Tuesday, I love your sampler more, Vera! Stich on, my friend! XO
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to borrow your mantra because my Garden sampler is like yours. There are so many little creatures and things to still add that it overwhelms me sometimes. It's why it's taken me so many years to finish.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be moving along more quickly now. It's always fun to see what you finished the previous week.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
I see progress!! snuggling grands is a wonderful thing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Iris kept warm with your snuggling! While you may have a lot left to stitch, you've also done a lot! I would love to have a tree that grows enormous fruit like the ones in this piece.
ReplyDeleteThat project is really filling in!!! Good job!
