Tiny Needle Tuesday 2/3/26

 Good Morning!

I guess it's no surprise that we are in for 6 more weeks of winter.  It feels as though it will take at least that long for the snow to disappear from our yard!  But...my car thermometer said it was 36 (!!!) when I left Iris yesterday around 4 p.m. And the sun was still high and bright in the sky.  This morning's temp is in the teens rather than single digits.  There is hope my friends, there is hope.

Now it is Tuesday and time for a TNT update.  Eve has been fully fleshed out!

She even grew a little more hair on one side.  Here's a look at the whole Appil sampler overall:

While there is still so much (so much!) left to stitch, I feel as though progress is being made.  Slow and steady.

No plans for today other than a small grocery shopping and a trip to CVS to pick up a prescription.  I may do some laundry...or I may not.  I've been having some back pain, so I may just take it easy!  Whatever you are up to, make it a good Tuesday!

  1. We're supposed to hit 30 today -- heat wave! Yesterday we only reached the upper 20s, but the sun was strong enough to melt some snow and ice on the roof, resulting in a big crash midafternoon that scared Ruthie (and me, if I'm honest). Eve is looking, well, not better, but more complete. I'm not sure she'll ever look much better, but that's not on you, that's just the design!

  2. It was a balmy 17 here when Frankie and I headed out at 630. There were no hints of color just a blanket of clouds overhead. Eve, you stunning girl you! I do believe you outshine that darling sun! (however unimpressed the moon might be! Ha!)

  3. I love Eve! The whole sampler is just a delight, Vera. I always think Groundhog Day is . . . meaningless. I mean . . . I'd happily have ONLY 6 more weeks of winter, y'know? Because around here? Well. It'll be a LOT longer than 6 weeks til we have spring, no matter what the groundhog tells us. I hope your back is feeling better soon! XO

  4. I'm always surprised that PETA doesn't show up when they haul Phil out of his hibernation to look for his shadow. It seems a bit unnecessary when he's not providing any valid weather information. But enough complaining; we were right at freezing yesterday and are supposed to get there again today. Any day that doesn't have single digits and snow is good! I like Eve; she certainly has a full head of hair. Now I'm wondering what Adam will look like. Take it easy this "warm" Tuesday!

  6. Still in the low 20's here each night...a first since we moved here 19 years ago! Your primitive sampler is really showing progress! Have a good week!
