Good Morning,
I have not posted a picture of Mabel in some time...she is not fond of having her picture taken - LOL. But here she is resting after a long night outside (bad girl not coming home).
She may be bad, but she is sweet also. And, if you look closely you'll see there is a bird at the feeder and another one flying in. Last year's feeder was one that was suctioned cupped to the window and I think Mabel liked that one better. However, the squirrels destroyed it, so we have a different one now.
The last two days with Iris were hard on my back and shoulders, so today is going to be about resting. I did have a Yin yoga class last night and am planning to go to another one today. But that's it! Oh, I may stop at the library. The other day I requested The Antidote by Karen Russell for our Read With Us group and yesterday I received notice that it is in for me! Fast!
Whatever your Friday has in store for you, may it be a good one! Enjoy.

What a perfect resting perch for Mabel . . . with a lovely view for her (when she is awake). I'm glad you've got some time to rest and recuperate . . . after chasing an active toddler for a couple of days! Enjoy the day.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing a lot of raking lately so I have opt for the stitching videos on my Pilates app at the end of the day. I just started The Antidote yesterday. Interesting story.
ReplyDeleteAww, Mabel does look sweet! I hope yoga helps and you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteAw - we love Mabel!
ReplyDeleteI had to investigate YinYoga. Saw the chart with poses. I do not believe I could handle even PRE Yin. I could sit for several minutes ... does that count?
ReplyDeleteOh I do love Mabel photos!
ReplyDeleteMabel is very content at home after her long night exploring. I think I need to rest up before our time with little "J". She's a very active three year old.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
My upper body is still sore from last week's sitting adventure. I am VERY happy to say that the little man, who will turn one tomorrow, is walking all over the place today all by himself according to Daughter. Whew. No more bending over for me just a lot of chasing, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is coming along. Mabel looks pretty sweet in the photo. Caring for little ones can be physically challenging. Take good care of yourself. May you find a repairman to solve the washing machine woes. Honestly, appliances are just the bunk when they don't work.
ReplyDeleteMabel is such a sweetheart, even if she gives you a hard time sometimes. I hope your yoga class helps your back and you enjoy your new read. I will tell you that The Antidote is a little confusing at first, but trust that things will come together.
ReplyDeleteSweet Mabel! She is a cutie, for sure! I have a feeder suctioned to my living room window that I hope the squirrels don't destroy (although I only fill the feeder with super spicy seeds which the squirrels don't like at all!) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLena has been spending too much time out at night also--I think it is the season! Rest up is right!
ReplyDeleteI hope your back is better as you read this!!! Mabel is such a sweet cat :)
ReplyDeleteMabel's got the right idea. And I hope your back is better after your yoga sessions and resting it over the weekend.
