We picked up the six ears of sweet corn and a watermelon from our favorite produce stand on Labor Day - the last of their season. We had a quiet relaxing weekend - our son was here visiting friends so he was in and out. I cast on two new projects because why not? We had a nice one, too.. we had a ravioli lasagna from Costco for dinner on one night and a chicken alfredo pasta the other one and out to dinner at our kid's house for clam chowder in a bread bowl. Some crocheting on my shell blanket was accomplished at their housde. Maybe her dad grew them? I see them at the farmers market once in a while, and get them in my CSA share. What a great weekend you had!
