But believe me, it's not because of the weather. We love it here but family beckons. Especially Piper. I'm glad you and Dee were both safe from the storms.
Your socks are lovely. I'm down to one sweater that I started last night for a Christmas present. I took all the packages to the post office early this morning when I was the only customer there. Everything except that sweater is done and mailed!
I use metal needles for socks. They are the Knit Pro zings and I love them. I also have the wooden Knit Picks dpn's too. I use both kinds. The Zings have tiny grippy rings that keep the yarn from sliding off, but enough slickness to make it easy to knit each stitch. I would actually like to get another set of them.
Have a great afternoon.
Blessings,
BetsyBetsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807691752817225336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6923606944837827580.post-3768434828974411392020-12-02T16:00:32.708-05:002020-12-02T16:00:32.708-05:00We had lots of wind . . . but no snow! I was trying so hard to get some things done over the holiday weekend but that sure didn't happen. I can't believe folks SOUTH of us got snow and we didn't. I've snapped too many wooden size 1 dpns, so I use metal needles now, but the wooden ones do feel warmer. I heard some story about shipping this morning and they recommended that people ship things no later than Dec. 11! That seems early, but better to get things sent in plenty of time.
