My daffodils are just visible now, so Progress! (I still haven't spotted a robin. . . ) Because my birthday is right at the very end of March (it's the 30th), I have always paid special attention to that Lion/Lamb thing! It was definitely lamb-like here on the 1st, so I'm counting on crappy lion-like weather for my birthday. . . :-)Kymhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01332895223302876006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6923606944837827580.post-3444287678493597422020-03-02T19:07:27.917-05:002020-03-02T19:07:27.917-05:00Good job on Miss Lime and on the Barn Owl.Good job on Miss Lime and on the Barn Owl.Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08170904251383218423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6923606944837827580.post-29075562881234020012020-03-02T16:14:53.743-05:002020-03-02T16:14:53.743-05:00What a nice guy to surprise you with flowers. Smart man. March definitely came in like a lamb here. Gorgeous weather and blue skies most of the weekend. I didn't leave the house all weekend. With so many cases of the dreaded virus out there in our State, I'm nervous to go shopping. Luckily we're fairly stocked up and will just need perishables by the end of the week. They're talking quarantines here any day. Another school in the absolute boonies was shut down this morning. It's up by the Canadian border on the east side of the state aabout 70 miles from us, so who knows what's happening there?
I love your bouquet of flowers. I prefer those kinds of bouquets with the various spring-like flowers over one with all the same flower. Although I would never turn one down!
Your socks are beautiful. I'm learning that I prefer plain knit feet on my socks too. Always plain for the botton and usually the top too!
Have a wonderful Monday Vera.
Blessings,
BetsyBetsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807691752817225336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6923606944837827580.post-27317221931542561362020-03-02T10:39:27.521-05:002020-03-02T10:39:27.521-05:00I am so jealous of your crocuses! YAY) this morning and the winds were crazy but it is well over 50 here this morning so it was a good way to stay cool as I worked up a good sweat! (I finished sock one, but I think it is because I only did 15 repeats on the leg so it would be a bit of a shorter sock. I started sock two last night.)
