Teeny Needle Tuesday

Good Morning!  Welcome to this week's edition of TNT.

Not a ton accomplished during the last week...but this dark fabric and 40 count is killing me!  I am determined to finish it though...it will just be slow.

Meanwhile we had some sleet and freezing rain overnight.  My office is on a 2 hour delay, but schools are closed and I think I will be making my own snow day!  I walked out onto the patio, and the freezing stuff is still coming down and the end of the patio is very slippery.  I know I don't have a lot to do at work today, so I'd rather stay home and be warm and safe.  By the afternoon it should all change to rain and getting to work tomorrow should be fine.  We are actually expecting a lot of rain this afternoon (so hopefully that won't just sit on the roads and then freeze).

So, today will find me doing some laundry, doing some knitting (hello Sunday Swing Socks), and putting the teeny needle to fabric a little later.

Have a great Tuesday.  If you are out and about in this Wintry weather - be safe!!

  1. Every time I look out the window, there is a different type of precipitation falling. Stay warm, dry, and enjoy your snow day!

  2. Good for you! I’m glad you get to make the choice to stay home and be safe. Dennis snow blowed over 10 more inches of snow this morning at 5:30 before he left for work. And it’s still coming down. I’m ready for this winter to be over. Blessings, Betsy

  3. 40 count! That's crazy! I think the smallest I ever went was 18.

I'd definitely stay home. Unless you absolutely have to be out, don't!
It's snowing here, but it's supposed to turn to freezing rain by afternoon. A friend about an hour south of us on Lake Erie is getting the freezing rain. Dave starts work around 5, so he's hoping it will clear - but I think it's going to be a snow day for him too!

  4. Creating your own Snow Day sounds like a good idea - stay safe, warm, and happily busy.

  6. Glad you were able to stay home. The roads are a mess! I don't think they've even plowed Butler Ave. yet. Just a slushy mess it is!!!

We did make it to the gym, but the rest of MY day will be dedicated to knitting on my blanket and stitching on my towel.

  12. The cowl looks great. Sometimes safety is more important than getting work done. Sleet is the worst. I hope the day was fun.
